Jhulan Yatra 2025 – A Festival of Divine Joy

The auspicious festival of Jhulan Yatra was celebrated with great devotion and joy at Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari Mandir, ISKCON Juhu, from 5 August to 10 August 2025. The festival commemorates the enchanting swinging pastimes of Sri Sri Radha–Krishna in the sacred groves of Vrindavan, traditionally observed in the holy month of Shravana.

Each evening, the Utsav Murtis of Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari were seated on a beautifully decorated swing (jhulan) in the temple courtyard. Devotees, guests, and well-wishers thronged the temple to participate in this rare opportunity to personally render service to the Lord by gently pulling the swing, accompanied by melodious kirtans.

A dedicated team of about 40 volunteers worked tirelessly to create new themes and floral decorations for each day of the festival. More than 1,000 kilograms of fresh flowers were used to adorn the swing and surroundings, depicting various pastimes of Lord Krishna, such as His playful butter-stealing and His loving exchanges with the gopas and gopis of Vrindavan.

The highlight of the festival, Balaram Purnima, coinciding with Shravana Purnima, was celebrated on 9 August 2025 with beautiful decorations and ecstatic kirtans

The celebrations concluded on 10 August 2025, leaving devotees spiritually enriched and inspired.

The Jhulan Yatra 2025 at ISKCON Juhu was a vibrant expression of divine love, drawing thousands of hearts closer to the Lord.
