Purushottam Adhik Maas Mahadaan - Donate Srimad Bhagvatam
Purushottam Maas, also known as Adhik Maas, is a rare and supremely auspicious month dedicated entirely to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Krishna—Purushottam. Unlike other months, this sacred period offers an extraordinary opportunity to accelerate one’s spiritual progress through devotional activities such as hearing, chanting, reading scriptures, and performing acts of charity. Among all forms of charity, the gift of transcendental knowledge stands as the highest, and there is no greater scripture to distribute than the divine Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is not an ordinary book. It is the essence of all Vedic literature, the spotless Purāṇa, and the ripened fruit of the desire tree of Vedic wisdom. It reveals the ultimate truth about the Supreme Lord, our eternal relationship with Him, and the process of devotional service that leads to perfection. By regularly hearing and reading Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, one’s heart becomes purified, ignorance is dispelled, and pure love for Lord Krishna gradually awakens.
In this sacred month of Purushottam Maas, the spiritual benefits of all devotional activities multiply many times. Therefore, gifting Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam during this time is especially powerful. It is not merely a donation—it is an offering of eternal wisdom, a gift that can transform lives. When you place Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam in someone’s hands, you are giving them the opportunity to connect with the Supreme Lord and begin their spiritual journey.
The scriptures glorify Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam as the literary incarnation of the Lord Himself: “This Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is the literary incarnation of God. It is meant for the ultimate good of all people, and it is all-successful, all-blissful, and all-perfect.” — Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 1.3.40
Such is the potency of this divine scripture that even a single verse heard or read with sincerity can uplift the consciousness of a person. Imagine, then, the immense spiritual benefit when one receives the complete set and engages with it regularly.

Bhagavad Gita 2.40
In this endeavour of offering service to Lord Kṛṣṇa, you get eternal credit, and a little service offer to Lord Kṛṣṇa can protect one from the most dangerous type of fear.
Srimad Bhagavatam 10.11.11
While Kṛṣṇa was going to the fruit vendor very hastily, most of the grains He was holding fell. Nonetheless, the fruit vendor filled Kṛṣṇa’s hands with fruits, and her fruit basket was immediately filled with jewels and gold.
