Fierce Yet Compassionate – Nrsimha Chaturdashi Celebrated at ISKCON Juhu

The divine appearance day of Lord Nrsimhadeva, the ferocious yet merciful protector of devotees, was celebrated with grandeur and devotion at ISKCON Juhu.

Devotees gathered in large numbers to witness the majestic darshan of Lord Nrsimhadeva and Prahlad Maharaj, resplendent in opulent attire and surrounded by elaborate floral décor. The celebrations began with special morning abhishek, followed by kirtans, dramas, and narrations of Lord Nrsimha’s divine pastimes that filled the atmosphere with awe and devotion.

In the evening, a grand maha-abhishek was offered with sacred items including milk, honey, ghee, and fragrant flower petals, accompanied by the roaring chants of Nrsimha prayers and Hari Naam Sankirtan. The festival concluded with the distribution of sumptuous prasadam to all visitors.

The celebration reminded devotees of the Lord’s promise to protect His sincere followers and vanquish fear with faith.
