Lord Narasimha is a half-lion half-man incarnation of Vishnu who appears to protect His devotees. He protects devotees from all kinds of calamities and removes obstacles from their path. May Lord Narasimha bring all-auspiciousness in your life and purify your heart.

Hiranyakashipu, a demon controlling the three worlds, was extremely proud and he hated Lord Vishnu. But little Prahlada, his five year old son, was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu. Therefore, Hiranyakashipu tried to kill Prahlada in several ways; but failed in all his attempts because of the protection given by the Lord to His dear devotee Prahlad.

Finally, when Hiranyakashipu asked his little son where the Lord resides, Prahlada replied that the Lord resides everywhere. Mocking this response, Hiranyakashipu broke a pillar in his palace, and the Lord appeared from that pillar in His half man-half lion incarnation – Narasimha. He then killed the demon and thus protected His devotee.

    Bhagavad Gita 2.40

In this endeavour of offering service to Lord Kṛṣṇa, you get eternal credit, and a little service offer to Lord Kṛṣṇa can protect one from the most dangerous type of fear.

    Srimad Bhagavatam 10.11.11

While Kṛṣṇa was going to the fruit vendor very hastily, most of the grains He was holding fell. Nonetheless, the fruit vendor filled Kṛṣṇa’s hands with fruits, and her fruit basket was immediately filled with jewels and gold.

    Srimad Bhagavatam 10.22.35

It is the duty of every living being to perform welfare activities for the benefit of others with his life, wealth, intelligence and words.
