Makara Sankranti Anna Daan
On the occasion of Makara Sankranti, devotees at ISKCON Juhu shall distribute 1,11,000 plates of hot meals throughout the city of Mumbai on 14 & 15 January 2025.

Makara Sankranti marks the 47th anniversary of ISKCON Juhu (Sri Sri Radha-Rasabihari Temple), which is not only one of the most notable landmark in Juhu but also a spiritual oasis for hundreds of visitors everyday. Special events have been organized to mark the anniversary celebrations.
In Mahabharata, Yudhishthira Maharaj enquired:"What gift will reward in this world and in the next?" Bhismadev answered:"There has never been, nor will there ever be, any gift equal to the gift of food.Anna Daan is Maha Daan.”-Anusasana Parva 13.63.3-6
