Donate on Sharad Purnima – Receive Divine Blessings
Sharad Purnima, the full moon night in the month of Ashwin (September–October), holds great spiritual significance in the Vaishnava tradition. On this sacred night, Lord Krishna performed the divine Rāsa-līlā with the gopīs of Vṛndāvana, displaying the highest transcendental love between the soul and the Supreme Lord. It is said that the moon shines with its fullest brightness on this night, showering nectar-like rays that bless all beings with peace and prosperity.
In the Bhagavad-gītā (9.27), Lord Krishna instructs:
yat karoṣi yad aśnāsi yaj juhoṣi dadāsi yat |
yat tapasyasi kaunteya tat kuruṣva mad-arpaṇam ||
— Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer or give away, do that as an offering unto Me.
Offering charity (dāna) on Sharad Purnima especially pleases Lord Krishna, as it is directly connected to His divine pastimes.
