Gaur Purnima 2025 – The Divine Appearance of Lord Caitanya | Lord Caitanya bestows His mercy to thousands on His appearance day | 13th March 2025 | ISKCON Juhu
ISKCON Juhu joyously celebrated Gaur Purnima, the appearance day of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, on 14th March 2025, with great spiritual fervor and deep devotion. Lord Caitanya—Krishna Himself in the mood of His topmost devotee, Srimati Radharani—appeared to teach the world the path of pure love of God through the chanting of the holy names.
The day’s celebrations began with a serene Mangala Arati, followed by a vibrant Shobha Yatra along Juhu Beach. Devotees and onlookers chanted the Hare Krishna maha-mantra, filling the atmosphere with joy and divine vibration.
Their Lordships received a special Shringar Darshan, adorned in resplendent pink and silver outfits, as hundreds offered prayers and basked in Their radiant beauty. In the evening, Bhaktarupa Das narrated the glories and life of Lord Caitanya, illuminating hearts with the golden Lord’s unmatched compassion and mission.
The highlight of the evening was the grand abhishek ceremony, witnessed by thousands who watched as Their Lordships were bathed in auspicious substances amidst melodious kirtans. The festivities concluded with Gaura Arati and the distribution of sumptuous prasadam for all.
Gaur Purnima 2025 served as a powerful reminder of Lord Caitanya’s timeless message: that congregational chanting of the holy names is the most effective means of spiritual awakening in this age. Devotees left with full hearts, immersed in the mercy and golden glow of Gaura Hari.
