Serving with Love: 1,11,000 Plates of Krishna Prasadam Distributed

As part of the 47th Anniversary Celebrations of the Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari Temple, ISKCON Juhu undertook a monumental seva initiative — the distribution of 1,11,000 plates of sanctified Krishna prasadam over the course of two auspicious days, centered around the festival on 14th January 2025.

Honoring Srila Prabhupada’s vision that "no one should go hungry near a temple," this massive outreach effort was powered by hundreds of enthusiastic volunteers, dedicated cooks, and committed devotees working in unison from the early hours of the day.

The temple kitchens came alive with spiritual energy as prasadam—hot rice, dal, sabzi, halava, and puris—was lovingly prepared, offered to the Deities, and distributed with warmth to every visitor, pilgrim, and guest across various locations of Hare Krishna Land and beyond.

From the temple campus to nearby communities and public spots, the initiative ensured that every plate carried not just nourishing food but also the blessings of Lord Krishna. The entire distribution was organized with utmost care, cleanliness, and devotion, reflecting the culture of compassionate service at the heart of ISKCON.

The event stood as a glorious reminder of prasadam not only as food but as mercy, uplifting thousands of hearts and nourishing both body and soul.
