Inspirio Youth Festival Enlivens
The Bhaktivedanta Youth Club conducted ‘Inspirio’ Youth Festival which aimed to introduce the youth to spirituality on 16 November at ISKCON Auditorium. The program saw a packed house and was attended by more than 300 boys.
The message of Bhagavad-gita was introduce to the youth of Mumbai through several enlivening series of program. The evening began the drama ‘Oh My God’ which explained in a funny way a serious and important message. It answered many questions about God and His existence that swirl in the minds of the youth. The drama was followed by a seminar on ‘Stop Worrying Start Living’ by HG Sundar Nitai Das, IHM gradute who presently resides full-time in the temple. He spoke about how taking to spirituality is a powerful solution to modern day worries and by practicing mantra meditation one can actually open up a new dimension to happiness.
The program rocked in the literal sense during the ‘Mantra Rock’ kirtan performance by Bhaktivedanta Youth Club band which had all the youth dancing and chanting the Holy Names. Several boys joined the band on the stage and requested the performance to be continued. One of the participants said 'Inspirio was really inspiring for me. Especially the rock show-never heard something like this in my life. The drama was also good.It truly rocked!'
The program concluded with special delicious prasada.
